Quick Start Guide
What 99Visibility Does
99Visibility audits how AI platforms — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, and Claude — describe your brand. It queries each platform with your target keywords, analyzes the responses for accuracy, sentiment, and citations, then gives you a visibility score and specific fixes to improve how AI talks about you.
Prerequisites
- An email address (or Google account) to create your account
- Your brand's domain name (e.g.,
yourbrand.com) - 5 to 25 keywords or queries your customers might ask AI about your brand
Setup Steps
- Sign up. Create your account at /signup using email or Google OAuth. Takes under 30 seconds.
- Add your brand. Enter your domain name and brand name. Optionally add a short description, pricing details, and key features — this helps our hallucination detection engine compare AI responses against your actual data.
- Add keywords. Enter 5 to 25 queries that potential customers might type into ChatGPT or Perplexity about your brand, industry, or product category. Examples: "best [category] tools," "what is [your brand]," "[your brand] pricing." See Running Your First Audit for keyword selection tips.
- Run your first audit. Click Run Audit. 99Visibility queries all four AI platforms with your keywords and parses every response. This takes about 2-3 minutes.
What You'll See
After your audit completes, you'll land on your Dashboard showing:
- Overall Visibility Score (0-100) — a weighted composite of mention rate, accuracy, sentiment, and citations. See Understanding Your Score for the full breakdown.
- Per-platform scores — how you rank on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, and Claude individually.
- Recommendations — prioritized, actionable fixes sorted by impact. Each recommendation tells you exactly what to do and how long it takes.
- Hallucination alerts — anything AI got wrong about your brand, flagged by severity.
